Evidenced-based therapy for individuals who wish to decrease anxiety, increase self-compassion, heal from trauma, and effectively grow in their goals.
Our approach
Heal the root so the tree is stable.
A large tree may appear sturdy, but if there is a barrier in the root system, an infection in the trunk, or unstable ground, the tree is at risk of falling. To encourage the growth of the tree, we must treat its roots, soil, trunk, and ecosystem. At Strong Foundations Therapy, we recognize the same is true with humans.
Strong Foundations Therapy uses evidence-based modalities to help individuals understand how their past influences their current beliefs, challenges, symptoms, and successes, while providing tools to effectively address concerns and achieve therapeutic goals.
Accessible therapy from anywhere in Colorado.
All of your appointments will take place virtually utilizing HIPAA compliant video platforms.

Martha Strong, LCSW
Since 2015, I have worked in various behavioral and mental health settings including adolescent residential treatment centers, child protection agencies, and mental health start ups.
I specialize in working with individuals 16 years and older who are navigating anxiety, depression, social challenges, life transitions and symptoms of trauma. I also provide therapy for parents of children, teens, and young adults, helping them manage the complexities and joys of parenthood. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly.
I utilize evidenced-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and others to help you work toward your therapeutic goals and find healing.
