Meet Your Therapist
Martha Strong, LCSW
Since 2015, I have worked in various behavioral and mental health settings including adolescent residential treatment centers, child protection agencies, and mental health start ups.
I specialize in working with individuals ages 16+ who are navigating anxiety, depression, social challenges, life transitions, and trauma. I also provide therapy for parents of children, teens, and young adults, helping them manage the complexities and joys of parenthood. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly.
I utilize evidenced-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and others to help you work toward your therapeutic goals and find healing.
Education and Licensing
I earned my Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Michigan and Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Denver. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Colorado Since 2022. I am a trained EMDR clinician from an EMDRIA™ approved agency.
Out of the Office
I am often found cuddling my sweet dog Annie, practicing yoga, trying to keep up with my partner skiing, FaceTiming family back in the Midwest, or going for a long walk, tea in hand, with my chosen family here in Colorado.
